The Rain

It started like a soft tiny tear
Whispering in all ears
Asking everyone to cheer
And throw out all the fear
It continued roaring
With deafening thunders
And fearful lightening
Spreading darkness
The orchestra continues
As Chennai enjoys
Some call it disaster
And I find love!

Freedom

Freedom in our country
Do you think it’s really free?
Don’t we often pay a price?
To actually keep our liberty
They fight for us and die
They colour the mud in red
Peace, purity and liberty
Is always coloured white
The colours white and red
Are our country’s only bread
Which one should we value?
In our corrupted avenue
Let’s not just think but act
We cannot more protract
They don’t have to die
For the country, for you and me!

Communication

So many words we speak, so many we listen
Each of them construct a bridge, some of them break it too;
The flora nor speaks nor utter, still they glow and bloom
The fauna doesn't know a word, still their relationships vroom;
What’s happening to us, the most intelligent creatures of today?
We don’t say what we mean, And we don’t mean what we say;
We struggle along in life, Not speaking when we should,
We wait until it’s too late, And then say nothing good
Let’s learn to keep it simple and try to truly realize
If we don't communicate to connect, it isn't really civilized
